Gigabyte files to transfer

How do you transfer big files — like a gigabyte or more — over the Internet?

Windows Secrets did some tests to see in June 2008 and found some possible services, outlined in this review.

AOL’s free Xdrive service was one but this is now going/gone out of business, so don’t use it, and TransferBigFiles another.

I use ElephantDrive, but it isn’t free. Actually, it is free for files up to 100 MB, but the paid services have limits in the GB range.
