Softpedia offers Download Microsoft Private Folder 1.0.
Recommended by Maximum PC, this is actually a Microsoft program that they pulled rather than deal with all the people who forgot their passwords.
If you’re sure you can remember your password to this, you can hide anything in here, encrypted, with no backdoor access.

MakeUseOf has a post on HideText: Convert Text or Email To Image which “lets you convert text to image online. You can convert sentences and email addresses to the GIF format which can then be used at places like your blog or website, especially when you want to prevent spam bots from copying your content. The images are only human readable and hence spam bots won’t be able to capture the text embedded in that image.”
HideText is a beta online service.
