Are you a Windows power-user? You can get and install Linux Mint running on your PC — either to try it out, or as a replacement for Windows.

Linux Mint is considered one of the more convenient versions (distros) of Linux, since it comes with most of the Linux versions of useful programs and the interfaces are some of the more generally popular. This shows how to put it on a USB stick (faster than a DVD drive) and boot from that, or actually install on your hard drive as an alternate or primary operating system. (If you have an older computer that doesn’t play well with Windows 10, this might be a valid alternative.)
