Print a directory listing in Windows

HowToGeek has a post on how to print the directory listing from a display, in Windows, using PowerShell.

If you prefer just a list of the filenames themselves, you can modify the previous command with the /b switch:

cmd /r dir /b > filename.txt
Where filename is the file you send the names to.

There’s also a link to a way to just right-click and do this, with some preparation beforehand.

There’s also a third-party freeware link for software for this.
