USBFlashCopy – backup for removable media

Posted on October 3, 2010. Filed under: backups, Flash drives, Freeware/Shareware | Tags: , , , , , |

USBFlashCopy is free automatic backup for removable media.

“USBFlashCopy enables you to automatically backup your USB flash drives and storage cards whenever you connect them to your computer. The first time you connect a drive, the software will ask if you want to create a backup profile, at which point you can choose where to store the backup, files to ignore (if any) and how to process modified files (overwrite or save a copy). USBFlashCopy uses the drive`s serial number to identify the drive and will automatically run the configured profile the next time you connect it. Only newer or update files are included in subsequent backups, saving you time and unnecessary copying. The free version displays the current backup progress while it is running, an optional Pro version is available that can run completely silent, without displaying the current backup progress.”
