There are a number of ways to edit your HTML code to create web pages and sites, and many of them are free!

Evrsoft has 1st Page 2000 which is a powerful editor and comes in free and pay versions. Microsoft Windows® 95 or later operating system, Microsoft Windows NT® Workstation operating system version 4.0 or later with Service Pack 3 or later, or Microsoft Windows NT® Server operating system version 4.0 or later with Service Pack 3 or later. Windows 2000, Windows Me and Windows XP are now supported.

Free HTML Editor from CoffeeCup Software

The Free HTML Editor from CoffeeCup Software is one of my recommended freeware editors for creating web pages.

It’s “a drag-and-drop HTML Editor with built-in FTP uploading. It has wizards for tables, frames, forms, and fonts, and comes with all HTML 4.0 and XHTML tags. The free version also includes wizards for images and links, as well as a QuickStart tool so you can create Webpages quickly.”

If it’s not powerful enough, there’s a pay version that you can try.
