Project Naptha is a Chrome browser add-on that allows you to edit the text inside graphic images.

You can copy, paste, edit, or translate text.  It’s not infallible, but it opens up a new range of actions.

Jing videos from your screen or presentation

Jing is freeware from the people at TechSmith who also make the commercial Camtasia.

Jing is a sort of “lite” version of Camtasia (without some of Camtasia’s features), that still lets you create useful/entertaining videos.

Freeware, for Windows or Macs. Bear in mind that video software needs a lot of RAM to run well — check the requirements against your computer.

The application has lots of features and provides with drag & drop visual editor which makes floor planning very easy. You can quickly build rooms in different shapes, adjust size, add/remove walls, doors, windows, and fill rooms with furniture. All added items can be easily moved around and rotated as you like.”

Pretty nice way to plan without a steep learning curve.
