Gizmo’s Freeware has a post: ExtraBits is a free Windows utility program that adds some additional functions to the right-click menu in Windows Explorer. You can copy and paste the filename of the files or folders you’ve selected, for example. And you can automatically extract a compressed file.

TechSupportAlert recommends Multi Commander: Here’s a great alternative to the standard Windows file explorer. It features twin panes, so you can easily move and copy files between 2 locations. There are lots of other useful features too, such as the way it automatically highlights files that were created or modified today (as shown by the green bar in the screen shot below).
